OSCE starts for L2 Nursing and Midwifery

March 27th,2017 is the date on which students in L2 Midwifery and Nursing started the OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Evaluation).

This Evalauation being conducted in KP skills Laboratory ,is a timed examination in which students interact with a series of simulated patients in stations and this involves history-taking, physical examination, counselling or patient management.

Students ready to shift to other stations

 Skills Lab demonstrators with nurses and Midwives from  different hospitals and Health Centers facilitate the evaluation process and grade students according to their perfomance in different stations.

Assessors following healthcare process

The OSCE is a standard mode used to assess important aspects of clinical expertise, such as physical examination skills, interpersonal skills, technical skills, problem-solving abilities, decision-making abilities, and patient treatment skills.

After completing this exercise, students will be deployed in different health centers and hospitals all over the country where they will be interacting with patients..
