The Biomedical Laboratory Science Department provides a learning environment that enables biomedical laboratory science students to become competent laboratory professionals. Through the acquisition of the theoretical knowledge and the technical skills necessary, medical laboratory science students are able to perform testing and provide quality laboratory services successfully. Embodied in this expertise is the ability to adapt to the changes required by medical advances, newly developed technologies, and the changing needs of health care and society.
